What we collect

World Clock does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or location. The clocks are calculated entirely in your browser from its built-in time zone database; your selected cities are never sent to us.

Local storage

Your selected locations, favourites, recently used places and display preferences (12/24-hour format and light/dark mode) are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you return. This data stays on your device. You can remove it at any time with the "Clear all" button and by clearing your browser's site data.

Location detection

The site reads your device's own time zone setting (for example via the Intl API) to choose a sensible starting comparison. It does not access GPS or precise location.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability, as is normal for websites.

Third parties

The pages are self-contained: the world map image and all scripts are served from this site, and no third-party trackers are embedded. If advertising or analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated first.
